Confidentiality Statement

Trust is the foundation of WPC care.

People will not speak honestly if they fear their private pain will become workplace information. WPC protects individual care conversations and does not report personal disclosures to management.

WPC may provide organizations with general, non-identifying feedback such as participation levels, broad themes, service recommendations, and care needs observed across the organization. This feedback is designed to improve care without exposing individuals.

Limits of confidentiality

Confidentiality may have limits when there is concern about safety, harm to self or others, abuse, neglect, mandatory reporting, legal requirements, or other situations where WPC is required to act. Whenever possible and appropriate, WPC explains these limits clearly.

Faith and personal beliefs

WPC honors the beliefs, values, and boundaries of every person served. Faith-based practices are not imposed. Prayer, scripture, hymns, or religious language are used only when welcomed, requested, or appropriate to the person’s expressed needs.
